This corner has a pop-up shelf for our big electric stand mixer. There's an outlet in the back of the cabinet so it can stay plugged in and everything is out of the way when it's not in use.
This is a slide-out rack for our fine imported spices. We don't use cheap Astor brand spices at our house, Mr Dave Frank. ;-)
The spice rack will have shelves and rails in it. The oven and cooktop will be just to the right of the spice rack.
The countertop will overhang this "L" enough to have counter-height stools where the boys can sit to eat breakfast or a sandwich.
This is a poor quality picture of the uninstalled accent door w/ seedy glass in it. The little bubbles in the glass are distorted by shadows.
And here are Walton and Kyle working on the tile in the master bathroom. Kyle is really sticking with it. He likes to understand how & why things are done a certain way. Will has become my Home Depot/Lowe's shopping assistant. He helps me find whatever it is that Walton sends us to get while he & Kyle are working and makes sure I don't forget anything.
