maybe this answers a few questions...

Mr. Siesta and his crew were back to work on the punch list from the rough inspection today. The boys and I went by at 11 a.m. and they were there working. We went back at 5:30 to see what they had accomplished. They were gone for the day, but I noticed these boxes and empty cans on the trash pile out front. (Once again, I must point out that we do have a VERY LARGE construction dumpster on the front corner of the site. None of the subs we've used seem to understand what it's there for - they just throw their trash and construction debris on the ground. Did their mothers not teach them anything??? Walton patiently tells me all the time that it's typical for a construction site to have trash on the ground, but it still irritates me. Every time I go out there, there is at least one guy standing around doing nothing while the other ones work. Maybe he could pick up a little trash and throw it in the dumpster? ) But, I digress.....here is what we saw this evening:

2 empty cases of Mexican beer...

And an empty 6 pack of good ol' American beer.
I am not excited about this! Go drink beer on your own time, not while you're building our house! No wonder the inspector found so many mistakes - the framers were all DRUNK. ;-)
