Christmas morning always starts out with stockings at our house. Here are our sleepy-eyed kiddos with their stuffed stockings. They were not early birds this year. We probably slept until about 8:30 or so. Nice! Once Anslie figures out what Christmas is all about we may not be able to pull this off.
The boys helped me choose Anslie's stocking stuffers this year - it was fun to see what they thought she would like.
Gum for Will.
We all thought that this hat that our neighbors gave Anslie looks adorable on her.
The tree before we started opening...
Will got a new baseball glove.
And Kyle got some accessories he's been wanting for his trumpet.
Anslie got a bathtub toy.
Each of the boys got their lifetime Georgia Sportsman's license from Walton this year for their big gift. Walton wrote them each a letter about what spending time outdoors with them means to him. Hunting & fishing is something he grew up doing with his Dad & brother. I am glad that he's making great memories outdoors with our boys too.
Anslie's big gift was a stroller for her baby doll.
Such a big girl! She loves her doll. When she picks her up, she always gives her a hug & a kiss on her head.
Later in the day, Kyle's girlfriend Ashleigh stopped by for a few minutes to exchange gifts with him. He has been joking with her for a month that he was getting her a "big squirrel" for Christmas - so before she got her real gift....she got a stuffed squirrel.
And even though this picture wasn't taken on Christmas Day, I had to include it. Our baby is looking more like a toddler every day. Such a sweet little smile!
