bloggy catch-up

This month has been busy & fun, but it has left me very little time for blogging!  What have we been up to?  I just downloaded pictures from my phone - here is a peek into our month:


Will at Ola HS homecoming - 

Kyle with the OHS band at the homecoming parade - they marched across N. Ola Road and through the elementary bus loop.

Kyle & I went with friends to see a Third Day/TobyMac/Michael W. Smith concert.  It was *great*. 

 Anslie has been looking out the window watching the leaves change.  She has learned to "woof" at the dogs. 

 She is into everything - she's trying to help Kyle with his homework here...

 AND it is marching band season!  Kyle traveled with the Marching Mustangs to Western Carolina University earlier in the month for a big competition.  They finished 5th overall - a great showing for their first appearance at WCU.

 Anslie has become a good eater since she's started on table foods.  This is a teething biscuit, but she loves grapes, turkey, broccoli, and almost anything else we give her.

 Here's a picture of our ever-growing (and ever-hungry) 15 year old taken at last weekend's competition.  He is quickly approaching 6 feet in height.  Yikes!  The OHS band won Grand Champions at the Rockdale Marching Festival last weekend and they're headed to the Georgia Dome for Bands of America this weekend. 

 Here are the Grand Champions celebrating!  So cool to see all of their hard work pay off!
